..'cited for his debut album Attention Deficit to release...Was supposed to come out mid sept...then mid oct. and finally Nov. 10. (He pushed things aside to tour with Jay-Z, N.E.R.D. and J. Cole.)

Wale's tryin' to bring back go-go music which originated in his hometown of Washington, D.C. back in the 1980's. The musical movement started with Chuck Brown a.k.a. "The Godfather of Go-Go" and never really moved outside of the area. It's a style of music that incorporates funk, soul and live instruments (more specifically, conga drums, timbales, cowbell, synthesizer and brass instruments)---rare characteristics of music production today.

Although none of his previous singles or mixtapes really incorporate the go-go movement, he refers to it as his secret weapon so i guess we'll see what he comes up with...A few favorite tracks I've peaked at: "90210", "diary", and "beautiful bliss".
